  • Steve Jobs Calls For An End To DRM
    Jobs is the latest to break the bad news to the four major labels - DRM doesn’t work. He also indicates that iTunes will begin selling DRM-free tracks as soon as Apple gets the go ahead from the major labels (it may be a while). Jobs sort of tips his hand at the end of this post - it’s clear that he’s feeling some pressure from the EU countries that are calling for Apple to open up the FairPlay system.
