Looking For That Great Jazz Note That Destroyed The Walls of Jericho Edition

Todays links of interest:

  • ‘Simpsons’ Yanked for ‘Baywatch Hawaii’
Because, and we quote, "D’oh! A Venezuelan TV channel has yanked "The Simpsons" off the air because it may be inappropriate for children. Taking its place: "Baywatch Hawaii."" Some stuff you just can’t make up.
  • Scrabble launches on Facebook: Yanks need not apply

  • Lawsuit filed, Beatles songs under wraps

  • Short Waves of Activity in the Satellite Universe
Here’s one we like: short-term "channels" that focus on timely issues, news, music, zeitgeist, and then go away.
  • He Said It Loud
Kirk’s first official challenge in the post-cable era? "The Night James Brown Saved Boston". Can he find it and watch it without traditional means? Stay tuned.
